Vintage gowns come in many styles Some are related to history or themes such as the medieval princess look, the Charleston swing era of the roaring 20s, fairy tale weddings while others are modern casual or formal.
The medieval style dress is focused on the old English design with its wide bottom sleeves and a high-banded waist. If you plan a medieval theme wedding, you may choose a gown of rich colors with embroidered gold details. Otherwise, you can enjoy this style of gown adapted to the 21st century be having your white or ivory gown designed with a high waist and sleeves with beautiful flowing wide chiffon cuff.

Charleston era of the roaring 20s Gowns.

These styles will flatter an slim - slender bride.
A style of a gown fasioned after the roaring twenties is loose at the waist and tight around the hips(hip hugger style).
It is usually sleeveless, has a deep neckline and shows plenty of skin around the chest, back and arms.
The gown has a flowing zig zag like hemline and is sewn with light and flowing fabrics.
